  Tom Wood is a world renowned expert on the gingers who has collected and lectured in a dozen countries. He has been breeding these plants for fifteen years and has received awards for many of his hybrids which have become standards in nurseries and gardens. As a result many catalog companies like Wayside Gardens, Stokes Tropicals, and The Plumeria People have featured his hybrids.
