Dr. Cao Min has become a receiver enjoying “ Special Government Allowance” 2006 by the Chinese State Council, which is in recognition of his outstanding contributions to academic studies and the development of XTBG.
Prof. Cao Min is now deputy director of XTBG. So far, he has published more than 80 research papers both home and abroad, 15 of which are listed as SCI papers. He has presided or participated in over 20 research projects.
He won the Fang Shuquan Young Scientist Prize of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997. In 2004, the research project of “Dynamic studies on tropical forest in Southwestern China”, with Cao Min as the first contributor, was awarded the second-grade “Prize of Natural Sciences” by Yunnan province. |
