Having summer holiday at XTBG is a big fun for kids. In this summer, a two-day photography course has been specially organized for them.

During August 16-17, 21 kids and teenagers were brought to gain inspiration among XTBG’s impressive trees, flowers and herbs. With the guidance of some flower and garden photographers, the participants had hands-on learning via their digital cameras.

The two days were spent in and around the Tropical Brilliant Flowers Garden, which presents a wide variety of photograph challenges. After an introductory lecture, the tutors drew the children’s attention to the trees, plants and views making up the Garden picture. They also shared their hints and tips for the best ways of capturing plants digitally.

During the popular course, participants also learned how to extend their vision, both in the way they look at plants before releasing the shutter and the best way to approach photography for each particular subject – when using digital cameras.

In addition to having fun, the participants benefited much from the course. They had not only hands-on experience in photographing but passion for plants, and teamwork spirit by playing games together as well.
