Some prize winning pictures of the Orchid Photography Contest

The Orchid Photography Contest came to an end in early August. The prize winning photos were announced on August 5.

The contest was open to the public with the purpose to promote appreciation of the orchids and the art of photography. The organizing committee received 500 photo entries. The judging panel finally selected 20 prizing winning photos.

The winning photos will be exhibited in XTBG soon and be shown in the e-magazine – Rainforest Stories. Here are a few examples.
