The Spring Festival is coming. How would you spend your spring festival? With its beautiful landscape, great air quality, and warm winter climate, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) is an ideal destination for your holiday. Come and enjoy it.

A lot of popular science activities will be available. Some are as following:

1. An exhibition on global climate change.  From plots of science fiction disaster film 2012 and the fog haze weather causing a large area of low visibility condition in the city, climate change has influenced the living of people. What can we do? Our exhibition helps you to understand climate change and increase your awareness of reducing the impact of climate change on ecosystems.

2. An exhibition on fossil plants and tree rings. How can scientists know the climate over thousands of years ago? Fossil plants and tree rings are reliable recorders of climate evolution.

3. Quiz questions on tropical rainforests and biodiversity conservation.

4. Post cards featured with plants. After exhibitions, you may have an understanding on climate change. Just write down your name, address, and spring festival bless, we will post the cards to you.

5. Photography exhibition of Mekong river basin beauty. The beauty of Mekong River Basin in a professional photographer’s camera! This is a collection of 28 photos in this exhibition, showing the life and culture of people from Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam and of course China along the Mekong river basin.
