On June 19, an event for promoting tourism in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan is held in Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG). A lot of journalists participated in the press release to promote the event, to inspire the enthusiasm of the public for tourism, and to experience  a lifestyle called Yunnan, I love Xishuangbanna. 

A contest for short videos themed with A lifestyle called Yunnan, I love Xishuangbanna was announced to start at the press meeting.  

XTBG is one of the largest botanic gardens with the richest outdoor plant collections in China. It is an ideal place to approach tropical rainforest, to understand botanical and ecological knowledge, with its scientific and cultural content and beautiful living collections, said Prof. Yang Yongping, director of XTBG. 

The series of press releases themed with There is a lifestyle called Yunnan is sponsored by Yunnan Provincial Government, aiming to promote colorful Yunnan, garden of the world.  

  

Yunnan is located in the southwestern end of the East Asian continent. Yunnan is yearning for not only its unique plateau scenery, and brilliant and diverse ethnic cultures, but also its characteristic charm and endowment with unique animal and plant resources, as well as bio-geographical landscapes, all these magic aspects about Yunnan have attracted attention from the world. Yunnan is not only the"Kingdom of Fauna", "Kingdom of Flora", and "Species Gene Bank" but also the"World Garden".
