The Training Course 2016 on Gardening and Horticulture came to an end on April 1, with 110 participants receiving certificates upon their successful completion of the curriculum. The 40-day curriculum was composed of lectures, field practices, demonstration, study tours, discussion and final tests. The theory behind the practice was explained and most of the time was spent learning practical skills and getting “hands dirty”. Building on over 20 years of professional horticulture training at XTBG, the course has been designed to give trainees a solid founding in horticultural techniques. The participants learned key practical skills taught by experienced and enthusiastic horticulturalists.
