The headquarters for the second-phase construction of XTBG tourism has been recently founded according to a decision made by Xishuangbanna prefectural government. The headquarters will be in charge of the all-round organizing, coordinating, commanding and implementing of the construction of XTBG tourism in the second phase.

Prof. Chen Jin, director of XTBG, has been appointed commander of the headquarters. Deputy director Li Hongwei, is executive vice commander. Mr. Chen Qizhong, vice Magistrate of Xishuangbanna, is another vice commander. The members of the headquarters are composed of leaders of related bureaus of the local government at different levels.

The headquarters is based at XTBG. XTBG is responsible for the detailed implementation of the construction work.
