Two foreign scholars are entering the Postdoc Program of the CAS Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) in mid September, 2004, 

marking the official launching of such a program there. 

Dr. Aeshita Mukher Jee from Saurastra University in India and Dr. Burkhard Wilske from Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Germany will conduct 

their research into relations between animals and plants and plant eco-physiology respectively.
