MoU signed between XTBG and Myanmar Ministry of Environmental Conservation

At the invitation of director CHEN Jin, a 3-person delegation of the Ministry of Environmental Conservation and Forestry visited XTBG during June 3 and 7. The three Burmese guests were Dr. Nyi Nyi Kyaw, Mr. Win Naing Thaw, and Mr. Tin Maung Htay.

The two sides held a meeting to listen to each other’s brief introduction. They also had a discussion on topics of common concern for future cooperation. Afterwards, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed. As representatives of the two sides, Dr. CHEN Jin and Dr. Dr. Nyi Nyi Kyaw signed their names on the MoU respectively. Dr. CAO Min and Dr. FAN Zexin were also present at the meeting.

The Myanmar guests visited the Central Laboratory, Herbarium, Tropical Forest Ethnic Culture Museum, Tropical Rainforest, and the Green Stone Forest.
