China will continue to promote a new round of higher-level opening up to the outside world, Premier Li Keqiang said Friday.
The statement came as Li had a discussion with over 70 foreign experts working in China prior to the Lunar Chinese New Year, which falls on Jan.28 this year.

Prof. Richard Colrlett, a British national and a high-end talent with Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), won Friendship Award by China’s government in 2016. He was one of the 72 foreign experts who attended the meeting during which Premier Li listened to advice and suggestions from four experts on issues concerning nurturing talent, innovation, intelligent manufacturing and vocational education, and on how to elevate the influence of China's story.

Prof. Richard Corlett submitted a proposal on establishing more nature reserves in tropical areas of China.
