ADB-GMS Project for Xishuangbanna Biodiversity Conservation Corridor inaugurated

On April 5, a signing ceremony of ADB-GMS Project for Xishuangbanna Biodiversity Conservation Corridor” was held in Jinghong, capital city of Xishuangbanna prefecture. Representatives of Yunnan Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, and Xishuangbanna Prefectural Environmental Protection Bureau attended the ceremony. Other parties concerned were also present.

 

The signing ceremony indicated that the project was officially kicked off.

 

  After the signing ceremony as representative of XTBG, Dr. Chen Jin gave interviews to the local media like Xishuangbanna TV. He introduced the significance of implementing this project to biodiversity conservation.

 

  Afterwards the Management Office of ADB-GMS Project for Xishuangbanna Biodiversity Conservation Corridor held meetings for the operation of the project. Prof. Hu Huabin introduced an overall implementation plan for the Project.
