Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences (XTBG, CAS) is one of the most prestigious tropical botanical gardens in China, and one of research institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). XTBG offers a broad spectrum of internationally competitive programs in ecology, biodiversity conservation and plant resource conservation and research. The botanical garden is the largest botanical garden with most species diversity in Mainland China, and ranks among the leading botanical gardens in the world.
We are inviting applications for full time faculty positions in professor, associate professor, assistant professor level in the following Labs or department:
Forest ecology (1 Professor)
Paleoecology (1 professor/ associate professor)
Coevolution Research (1 associate professor)
Ecology & Evolution of Plant Animal Interaction (1 associate professor)
Plant Evolutionary Ecology (1 associate professor)
Horticultural Plant Breeding (1 associate professor)
Biodiversity Studies (1 associate professor)
Ecological Evolution (1 assistant professor)
Chemical Ecology Group (1 associate professor)
Head of Department of Gardening & Horticulture (1 professor)
Digital Garden engineer (technical engineer, a group leader for the support unit of Horticultural Department)
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or relevant work experience in biological sciences or a related discipline, and have an excellent record of productivity. Successful candidates will be appointed as a faculty member of Labs at XTBG, and provided with a competitive salary, start-up funding, laboratory development resources and ancillary support commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications are available with these endowed positions.
