Li Qiaoming passes the primary end-term appraisal of CAS “Light in Western China” Program

On June 26, a panel of 7 experts in and outside XTBG gathered together at Kunming division to evaluate the work of Assoc. Prof. Li Qiaoming, who has been funded by the CAS “Light in Western China” Program from 2002 to 2006. The panel comprised vice president Xi Jianxun of CAS Kunming Branch and deputy director Cao Min of XTBG, and some other experts.

   The panel listened to Li Qiaoming’s work report and reviewed related materials submitted by her. After discussions, the panel reached agreement that Li Qiaoming passed the primary end-term appraisal of the CAS “Light in Western China” Program.

 

   Dr. Li Qiaoming has been engaged in the studies on conservation genetics and ex-situ conservation. She has published academic papers in such peer-reviewed journals as Biological Conservation, Taxon, and Biochemical Genetics, etc.
