XTBG has provided continuous science & technology support for poverty alleviation in Mengla in recent years. On April 3, XTBG leaders like Dr. Chen Jin paid a visit to Mengla county government to hold talks with the major leaders on the topic of poverty reduction work in 2007. The meeting is a continuation of the successful collaboration between XTBG and the local government in the previous stage.

   Thanks to hard work and extensive cooperation in the course of implementing poverty alleviation projects by both sides, inspiring results have been achieved.  The two sides are to further cooperate well through giving full play to the academic advantages of XTBG.
