Adjunct Professorship awarded to Prof. N. Michele Holbrook of Harvard University

Prof. Noel Michele Holbrook, Biological Laboratories of Harvard University, has recently accepted an appointment letter of adjunct professorship from XTBG

After getting Bachelor degree from Harvard University, Noel Michele Holbrook went on to earn a master's degree in botany from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. from Stanford. In 1995 she returned to Harvard to teach and was tenured in 2001 as professor of biology. As an eminent plant physiologist, Prof. Noel Michele Holbrook serves as subject editor of Plant Physiology and Plant, Cell and Environment. She is also associate editor of American Journal of Botany. She ever sat on the editorial boards of Trees-Structure and Function and Biotropica

 

 As a foreign consultant expert of XTBG, Prof. Noel Michele Holbrook is to jointly conduct relevant studies by making use of a diversity of plants in Xishuangbanna and co-supervise graduate students with the scientists of Research Group of Plant Physiological Ecology.
