On June 28, Mr. HE Yan, head of the CPC Committee at CAS in Beijing Area, headed a panel of officials in charge of personnel affairs of CAS at different levels to XTBG to evaluate the performance of the Directorate over the past two years. The evaluation meeting was presided over by President Zhang Zhuangxin of CAS Kunming Branch.

Prof. Dr. Chen Jin, director of XTBG, made summary work report to the panel of officials. Mr. HE Yan affirmed the achievements made over the past two years. The panel also put forward conducive advice for the future development of XTBG.

 In addition, the panel asked the staff members to fill in performance evaluation forms and held talks with some faculty members.
