General Liang Guanglie, member of the Central Military Commission, paid an inspection visit to XTBG on January 16.

     While showing the General and his companions around the elite living collections within the Garden, XTBG deputy director Li Hongwei briefed the Garden. In recognition of the achievements made by XTBG, General Liang Guanglie spoke highly of the work on plant germplasm preservation, gardening and public education. Afterwards, the General planted a memorial tree.
