Academician Zhang Yaping, who’s also director of Kunming Institute of Zoology, visited Ailaoshan Forest Ecosystem Station on March 9.

   Academician Zhang made an on-the-spot investigation of the forest dynamics plot, monitoring facilities and living conditions of the Station. Afterwards, he held talks with the faculty and staff there and encouraged them to keep working hard and make unsubstitutable contributions to biodiversity conservation and studies.
