When inspecting XTBG on 6 July 2005, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao planted a Vatica mangachapoi Blanco tree for memory. About three years has passed, and the tree came into full blossom for the first time in 2008.

Vatica mangachapoi Blanco is a species of plant in the Dipterocarpaceae family and found in Brunei, China, Maylaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. It belongs to the third-ranking protection category of national protected plants. Its flowering phase is during May and June.
