In order to sustain its development and turn the aim of becoming a world-class botanical garden into reality, XTB organized a development strategy forum during September11-12.

   In his speech entitled “Strategy consideration on the sustainable development of XTBG”, Dr. Chen Jin analyzed the status quo of XTBg, and highlighted both progress and priority concerns of the development over the past 50 years. He called for concerted development of scientific research, plant germplasm preservation, and public science education.

 The participating leaders and professors had in-depth discussion on such issues as sustainable development, strategic plan in the following years, talents cultivation, effective development mechanisms, etc.
