To show respect for the elderly retirees and to extend to them festival greetings, XTBG leaders Chen Jin and Li Hongwei met the elderly retirees on Chongyang Festival (or Double Ninth Festival), a traditional day celebrating the elderly on the ninth day of the ninth month according to Chinese lunar calendar, which is also traditionally known as the “Old Men Festival”, or Oct. 7 this year.

     Taking care of them and letting them share the development and achievements of the Garden is a tradition of XTBG. The current leaders also thanked the retirees for their contributions to the Garden, wished them health and happiness.

   Gathering together on the Double Ninth Festival, the seniors were in a happy mood and enjoyed themselves.
