Mr. Su Bo, Director General of China’s State Reserve Bureau and senior supervisory commissioner of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), led a 6-person group of officials to XTBG on February 15. Yunnan provincial Executive vice Governor Luo Zhengfu and Xishuangbanna Magistrate Dao Linyin accompanied the tour.

While showing the officials around the Garden, XTBG deputy director Li Hongwei introduced advances in scientific research, species preservation and public education.

 Speaking highly of such advantages as rich plant species, beautiful landscape, popular science education, and setting up a scientific botanical garden, the officials also visited the newly established residential quarter for faculties and staff.
