The5thInternational Symposium on Modern Ecology (ISOME) is scheduled to be held in Lanzhou University from June 25 to July 2. According to careful evaluation by the expert panel of ISOMES, Dr. Zhang Yongjiang of XTBG is among the 10 winners of ISOMES Li Bo Graduate Student Award 2009.
Zhang Yongjiang’s paper is titled “Size-dependent mortality in a Neotropical savanna tree: linking adjustments in hydraulic architecture and carbon balance with population dynamics”.
In 2007, Dr. Song Fuqiang of XTBG won Li Bo Award, too.
