Prof. Dr. Cao Kunfang has recently assumed the position of an associate editor of Plant Ecology, at the invitation of its Editor-in-Chief Prof. Neal J. Enright.

Plant Ecology(formerly, Vegetatio) publishes original scientific papers on the ecology of vascular plants and bryophytes in terrestrial, aquatic and wetland ecosystems. Plant Ecology has been voted one of the 100 most influential journals in biology and medicine over the last 100 Years. Its impact factor in 2008 is 1.73.

In addition, Prof. Cao Kunfang, Prof. Zhu Hua, and Prof. Feng Yulong have been elected as members of the Editorial Board of Journal of Wuhan Botanical Research.
