Prof. Shang Yongfeng, a newly elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), made a 6-day visit to XTBG in early February. He held talks with professors and graduate students.
Prof. Dr. Li Qingjun, deputy director of XTBG, met with the academician.
Talking with the students, Prof. Shang Yongfeng shared his experience in learning and scientific research, encouraged them to persist in learning, and gave some meaningful advice.
Prof. Shang Yongfeng from the Center of Medical Sciences at Peking University focuses his research on steroid receptors, coactivators, and gene transcription. He has made publications in such authoritative journals as Cell, Science, Nature, and Molecular Cell, etc.
