XTBG sent two young staff members engaged in popular science education to Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden (KFBG) for communication in early 2010 on invitation.
During their stay in Hongkong, the two young ladies (ZHAO Jinli and JIANG Hong)were invited to talk about such issues as cultures in Xishuangbanna, tropical rainforest conservation, ethnic forest culture, e-magazine Rainforest Stories, and popular science activities at XTBG, etc.
They also took active participation in the activities like"Nature's Pulse" Installation Art Exhibition. They assisted KFBG Artists-in-Residence in completing artworks created in a natural environment.
While comprehensively exchanging ideas on science popularization with related personnel at KFBG, the two young ladies visited some parks and museums in Hongkong.
