Mr. Fan Meng, a 26-year old young man, pushed his mother to realize her dream of visiting Xishuangbanna since July. After a long journey of 100 days, they finally arrived in this beautiful place in October. In addition to other scenic spots, XTBG - the only 5A national tourist attraction impressed them a lot.

On October 20, Fan Meng and his handicapped mother came to the tropical plant camp – XTBG. On their arrival, they were greeted by a banner written with “Welcome to the only 5A National Tourist Attraction”. They were also worn saga seed necklace by tour guides.

Visiting the National Trees and Flowers Collection, Commemorative Plant Garden, Distinctive Plant Collection, and Flower Garden, they were attracted by the amazing tropical plants and curious about the functions and ways of their living.

“Nothing is impossible in this great world. And Xishuangbanna is the place where miracle happens most often”, said Fan Meng. He was really amazed at the distinctive plants in XTBG.

The mother, Ms. Kou Minjun, said that “I have never thought of seeing so many plant species and such lofty trees”, when asked about her feelings of visiting Xishuangbanna.
