Dr. Akihiro Nakamura granted 2016 Research Fund for International Young Scientists

The name list of the 108 applicants who have been granted the Research Fund for International Young Scientists of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) has been recently released. After the scientific review, Dr. Akihiro Nakamura of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) is one of the 108 fund receivers.

With support of the fund, Dr. Akihiro Nakamura is going to conduct a research program on “Biodiversity and ecosystem functioning along elevational gradients within fragmented landscapes: implications for climate change”.
