Sterculia villosa (by Zhu Renbin, at XTBG)

Sterculia villosa, the hairy sterculia or elephant rope tree, is a small to large, often spreading deciduous tree having large long-stalked deeply lobed leaves and yellow flowers. It is native to southern India and south Asia where it is found in moist deciduous forest habitats.
