It is with great pleasure and honor to invite you to participate in the upcoming "II International Symposium on Botanical Gardens and Landscapes (BGL 2025)" scheduled to take place from 22rd to 26th September 2025 at the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in the Xishuangbanna prefecture, Yunnan, China. This event will be organized by the Center for Gardening and Horticulture, XTBG, under the auspices of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) Division Landscape and Urban Horticulture and Working Group Botanical Gardens.

The main objective of BGL 2025 is an interactive opportunity for leading scientists, emerging researchers, students, and people involved in education, research, and industry development from around the globe to meet and present their research innovations, to share ideas and knowledge, and to discuss the current status and future perspectives in all aspects of Plant Science which cover Botanical Gardens, Landscapes, Plant Genetic Resources (PGR) Management, Gene Bank, In vitro Propagation & Conservation, Cultivation, Taxonomy, Ecology, Physiology, Phytochemistry and Genomics, Genetics & Breeding, and Molecular Biology & Biotechnology.

The symposium program will feature a wide array of activities, including keynote and invited lectures and plenary sessions focusing on key areas, poster presentations, ISHS Young Minds awards, technical tour, and ample opportunities to engage with various stakeholders.
