The Institutional Center for Shared Technologies and Facilities is an important supporting platform of XTBG, It provides technical support and services to both internal and external users of the garden. It is responsible for the management and maintenance of large-scale instruments and for analytical testing services (including the Kunming Biogeochemistry Laboratory), delivering key technical support for scientific research conducted across the entire Chinese Academy of Sciences, regional centers, and local institutions. It also participates in the management of the Kunming Regional Instrument Center.
