Research interest:

My research focuses on plant ecology (with an emphasis on bryophytes), microbial ecology, and biodiversity conservation. The main research areas include:

1) The mechanisms by which host functional traits and external environmental factors influence the assembly of phyllosphere microbial communities;

2) The ecological functions of bryophyte-associated microbiomes in tropical montane ecosystems;

3) The offsite ecological impacts of human activities (particularly mining) and their implications for biodiversity conservation.
