2025 XTBG Population Genomics Workshop+

The third workshop on population genomics will take place in Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), located at Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China, following successful meetings in 2021 and 2023. It will bring together a world-class faculty to teach state-of -the-art techniques for analyzing genomic data within species and closely related species complexes. The workshop will feature a mix of lectures and hands-on practical sessions, with ample opportunities for discussions with the faculty. It is designed for researchers, from advanced Master’s students to faculty members, interested in applying population genetic tools to analyze their data. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants, ensuring plenty of time for interactions with the faculty. We also look forward to welcoming participants from across Asia and beyond. Applicants from nearby low-income countries may apply for a fee waiver; please send an email explaining your circumstances to request assistance with travel expenses.
