A flower show of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was recently held in Shenzhen. Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) participated in the event by presenting eight (8) newly bred varieties developed through its own research.

XTBG displayed a wide range of popular ornamental flowers, including Paphiopedilum, Dendrobium, Bauhinia, and Mussaenda. Two orchid varieties won first prizes for their unique colors and elegant forms. Other Mussaenda, Bauhinia and Dendrobium varieties also secured second and third prizes respectively.

In the group awards category, XTBG was honored with the Best Co-contribution Award for its high-quality entries and professional organization.

The exhibition showcases achievements in breeding new flower varieties of XTBG. The garden remains committed to the research and cultivation of innovative and superior flower varieties, providing vital species support for the development of the floriculture industry.
